LEAGUE fan club Back to Belmore has endorsed seven candidates for the Bulldogs Football Club Board of Directors ahead of a ballot to be held this month.
President of Back to Belmore, Luke Brailey said Phil Charlton, Ray Dib, Paul Dunn, Andrew Farrar, Graeme Hughes, Robert Picone and Barry Ward had the right agenda to get the Dogs back to Belmore Sports Ground - where they belonged.
"The leading candidates seeking positions on the Bulldogs Board of Directors present an intriguing mix of personalities and priorities," Mr Brailey said.
Dib is the only incumbent board member endorsed by the Back to Belmore movement. "Ray Dib has played a key role in obtaining beneficial sponsorship that will help guarantee the Bulldogs' future in the coming years and also has a keen understanding of the importance of the Bulldogs' proud traditions," Mr Brailey said.
If elected on Sunday, February 17, Back to Belmore believes those seven candidates would live up to the Bulldogs' charter of going back the ground that the team has always proudly called home.
"The job requires tough men who not only understand the factors that have crippled Belmore Sports Ground but also possess the foresight, discipline and skill to act immediately and navigate the club back to its proud traditions."
